Holiday Cards for Active Duty Military Personnel
This year, you can write holiday cards to active duty military personnel stationed away from their families. Click the button for instructions (you will have to scroll down the page a bit). Please remember to keep your message positive and uplifting, remember they are away from friends and family so they need to hear good things! Each card is worth 30 minutes of community service. After completing your cards, please take a picture and send it to Sydney Shaheen at sshahee6@kent.edu. Also, remember to fill out an hours correction form so you get credit for your work!

Letters for the Elderly
Writing cards to the elderly will count as community service this semester. Please keep your message uplifting! Each card made counts as 30 minutes of community service.
Once you write your letter, there are three steps you must follow:
1.) Include "Beta Alpha Psi/Accounting Association, Kent State University" under your name.
2.) Take a picture and email to Sydney Shaheen at sshahee6@kent.edu
3.) Address and mail your card to Neighborly, 3425 Bannerman Road Suite 105-420, Tallahassee, FL 32312
Please also fill out an Hours Correction form with the number you made.

Cards for Children
You can make a card for a sick child (please keep this uplifting with no mentions of illness) to get community service hours! Each card made is worth 30 minutes of community service. See the link for more information and some ideas! You can also use Pinterest for card ideas.
Once you make it there are three steps:
1.) Include a note with "Beta Alpha Psi Kent State University" written on it
2.) Take a picture and email to Sydney Shaheen at sshahee6@kent.edu
3.) Address the card and mail it to Cardz for Kidz! 323 East Wacker Drive #11 Chicago, IL, 60601
Please remember to also fill out an Hours Correction form with the number of cards made.

Make a Mask!
On your own, you can make a mask for those who need one! Simply find a mask donating location near your home to donate what you make. Each mask is worth 30 minutes of community service. Please fill out an Hours Correction form with the number you completed. When your mask is completed, please send a picture to Sydney Shaheen at sshahee6@kent.edu. You can also contact Sydney if you have any questions or need help locating a place to donate your masks.

Food Pantry Volunteering
Work a shift at your local foodbank for community service! The Akron/Canton Foodbank is the area foodbank for Kent and by clicking the button below, you can sign up for a shift there. However, any foodbank would be an amazing way to get your hours in. If you work at a foodbank, please fill out an Hours Correction form so your hours will be recorded.

Campus Volunteer Opportunities
These are opportunities on campus to get community service hours and help those in nee. If you complete any of these service events, please fill out an hours correction form or email Sydney Shaheen at sshahee6@kent.edu, so we can make sure you get an community service hours due to you!

Become a Tutor!
Did you receive an A- or better in a previous accounting class or are you an upper-level student who can help with introductory accounting courses? The schedule is flexible! Sign up to be a tutor below!
If you work as a tutor, please fill out the hours correction form so we can document your community service hours.
