The Beta Psi Chapter
Founding of Beta Alpha Psi and the Beta Psi Chapter
Beta Alpha Psi was formed at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on February 12, 1919. There are over 300 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha Psi's formation.
Kent State University's Beta Psi chapter was founded in 1964. Over 1,300 members have been initiated into the Beta Psi Chapter.
Our Chapter Today
The Beta Psi chapter currently has 53 members. As our chapter continues to grow, we consistently maintain the chapter of excellence award.
Mission of Beta Alpha Psi
The mission of Beta Alpha Psi, the premier international honor and service organization for financial and business information students and professionals, is to inspire and support excellence by:
Encouraging the study and practice of accountancy, finance, and information systems; providing opportunities for service, professional development, and interaction among members and financial professionals; and fostering lifelong ethical, social, and public responsibilities.
